Hi guys, got an issue with Sonicwall's SSL VPN and it's security, I can connect fine to the SSL VPN, but can't remote desktop to my business PC with my mac. If I use my home PC to office PC, work fine. If I share my cell phones internet, the mac will connect to the SSL VPN and remote desktop. And also I did test this from a friends home, all working. If the problematic user is connecting remotely through a virtual private network (VPN) or Terminal Services Gateway, the remote desktop might not be working because of a problem with the user's machine, the VPN or gateway, or your remote desktop infrastructure. I am connected to my corp VPN. I can ping my PC on the VPN; but when I try to connect using Windows 10 Remote Desktop, it tells me it 'cannot connect to remote PC'. This worked without any problems with Win 8.1. I discovered that Default Gateway was not set for VPN interface, so configured this in Remote Desktop. Once this was done, it seemed to find my PC & prompted for credentials. However, it failed to connect & now all attempts fail immediately saying 'Can't connect to remote PC'. The OneDrive app icon is hidden by default. To show it in the Dock, click to deselect the Hide Dock icon checkbox in Preferences. Can I choose folders in my OneDrive that I don't want to sync on my Mac? When you first set up OneDrive, click Choose folders to sync. OneDrive is the one place for everything in your life. It gives you free online storage for all your personal files, so you can access them from your Mac and any other devices you use – iPhone, iPad, PC The OneDrive app for Mac makes it easy to work with your OneDrive files on your Mac. Download Microsoft OneDrive apps to sync files on a Windows PC or Mac. Download mobile apps to upload files from your phone or tablet. Onedrive app for mac not syncing. The OneDrive app runs as a menu bar item that includes sync status for files kept in the OneDrive folder. There is also a set of preferences you can adjust by selecting the OneDrive menu bar item and clicking on the gear button. You're set up and have 5GB of free space to use. Again, this was all working fine pre-Win 10. In response to RajithR, the site you recommend is for IT professionals. I am not an IT person; I am a Win 10 user. Anyway, I have solved the issue (at least for my case): It seems that Microsoft still has not learned from its Win 8 fiasco. It is still trying to force desktop users into Metro apps (which are generally less functional and/or don't work at all). The solution is to find the old Remote Desktop app under Windows Accessories and use that. Other than the fact that you lose the quick links to common remote PCs, this works as expected. Thanks, DavidD2015 I forgot about using the RD under Windows accessories. It works fine although more cumbersome to get to. I am using the old Cisco VPN IPSec client 5.0.07.0440 (which took about 2 hours of workarounds to get it to work with Window 10) and I swear that the Remote Desktop app worked with this a month ago. I installed it in two Windows 10 laptops and it worked up until, maybe last week. I downloaded the Remote Desktop Connection Manager 2.7 and it works but the screen size is unwieldy. Your solution works better. I don't know what Microsoft changed in their RD app, but I wish they hadn't. It still works with a direct connect but not with a VPN. I have the same problem; works fine on local network but not when using a VPN to the office. In this tutorial, we will learn how to install eclipse IDE on Mac OS X. Eclipse IDE (Integrated development environment) is written in Java and mostly used for developing Java applications. In Eclipse IDE, you can write, compile and run your Java code. The new version of macOS called High Sierra (10.13) will soon go GA and we expect many of our STS/Eclipse users and Spring developers will upgrade their machines sooner than later. Eclipse for mac os. I also faced the same issue in sierra. There seems to be some issue with unzipping in sierra. Both double click as well as unzip command. I ended up using windows (i had windows VM in VMFusion) and used 7zip to uncompress the zip. I also discovered that the old Remote Desktop Connection program works, which tells me that there is a bug in the new Metro App. I also use Remote Desktop Connection Manager, but the problem with that is it keeps giving an error when attempting to view a desktop in full screen. Version 2.7 on Windows 7 on a new laptop is giving me this problem but Version 2.2 on Windows 10 was not. The other difference is the one giving the errors has a 4K monitor but the other was not. Uninstall adobe flash on imac. I don't think that's the problem though because I use multiple monitors and if I move to the other regular monitor I still have a problem. Anyway I was hoping to find a solution here for the Metro app but I guess Microsoft doesn't think it's worth the effort to fix the problem.
